My current work looks at the intense topic of climate change.
This new series includes what I call, “watcher blossoms”, which feature hot-sculpted glass buds and blooms. The realistic features and inescapable gaze, compel the viewer to see nature as a witness to our choices and actions. Works in the series focus on issues under the umbrella of human impact on our planet. Spurred by the sobering and dire outcomes if human impact on climate change are left unchecked, I feel compelled to create this work.
