Watcher Blossoms

The Watcher Blossoms feature hot-sculpted glass buds and blooms with a life-like eye at the flower center and represent nature as a witness to our choices and actions. This series focuses on the intense topic of human impact on the environment by featuring the ways in which humanity commonly encounters the natural world.

This work invokes the words of John Cage,

"Look at everything. Don't close your eyes to the world around you."
